Challenge #7 Accessorise - 1810's shoes
Fabric: Perhaps real leather - perhaps not... I really don't know
Pattern: None, but I had a lot examples from many different blogs :-DD
Year: about 1813
Notions: black cotton ribbon, silk ribbon for the tassels, super glue, pink (mixing red & white) and black paint
How historically accurate is it: silk tassels are 100 % accurate, the rest is not so much
Hours to complete: 1-2 hours (not including time for the paint to dry)
First worn: not yet
Total cost: ~ 20 €
The basic ballerina shoes I used are too wide, but I didn't let that bother... I'll fix that when I do the real shoes.
The pink colour is not as bright as seen in the photo, but yes, it is still too bright. But hey, it's my first ever pink thing in my wardrobe - historical or modern. I didn't have any pink clothes even as a baby....
All I need now is the outfit for these shoes :-)
Alla on alkuperäisiä kenkiä, joista imin vaikutteita.
And here are some original shoes that inspired me. Shoes I now made are just for the practice until I'll find more period looking shoes to remake...

1780-1800 - a little early for "my" time, but I liked the pattern and the colour
